I recently stayed at Hostal Santa Calma and had a great experience. The room, although the blankets had a strange smell, was fairly clean and fresh towels were provided frequently. The staff was friendly and communication over email was good. I particularly enjoyed the convenient location, with a nice straight walk to the beach and plenty of shops and amenities nearby. The highlight for me was the air conditioning, which was a relief during the hot weather. the host who helped us check-in was pleasant and accommodating.
Not one thing 🙅♀️

The cleanliness of this place is mind-blowing! The room was mostly clean, but the blankets had a weird smell. However, fresh towels were given often, which was super nice. The staff, especially the guy who helped us check-in, was really friendly. Even though we didn't see anyone else working there, the contact over email was great. And let me tell you, the location is jaw-dropping! It's just a short walk to the beach, and there are tons of shops and amenities nearby. Plus, the air conditioning was a godsend. , it's super convenient that there's free wi-fi, a picnic area, tables, a lift. Oh, and it's a no-smoking zone, which is a big plus for me.

I recently stayed at this clean and conveniently located hotel for a few days. The room, although it had a slight strange smell, was fairly clean with fresh towels provided frequently. The staff I interacted with, especially the person who helped us check-in, were nice. I appreciated their prompt communication over email too. The air conditioning was a definite plus, and I liked that there were many shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. It's also just a short walk to the beach.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Iglesia Mayor de la Encarnacion and Teatro Ciudad de Marbella were reachable, but only if you have a car and enjoy spending your precious vacation time in traffic.
Who needs character and comfort when you can have a leaky toilet and unidentified debris on the bedsheets? Unforgettable!

Great potential, if you want a basic room and enjoy the smell of weird blankets. Fresh towels and nice staff, although I only saw them once. Good location for a straight walk to the beach and nearby amenities.
Entrance restrictions like in a high-security prison, a dirty room with hair souvenirs all over, and the bathroom's very own hair salon. Quite the experience, not in a good way.

Loved the charming experience of navigating my way through the dirty top sheets, mysterious debris on the floor, and hair-filled bathroom. Such attention to detail!
Who needs cleanliness and comfort in a hotel anyway?

A very clean room, with fresh towels given regularly. The staff seemed nice and had good communication over email. The location was great, a straight walk to the beach with lots of shops and amenities nearby.
The room lacked character and could have used some decor to make it feel more cozy. There were some maintenance issues, like a leaky bathroom sink/toilet and noise from other guests.

I could really feel the ocean breeze in my hair while staying at Hostal Santa Calma. So refreshing! The terrace was a lovely spot to enjoy it. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach and has friendly staff.
Who needs character or comfortable beds anyway? The room lacked personality and the beds felt like benches.

The room I stayed in at Hostal Santa Calma was amazing! It had a balcony where I could relax and enjoy the view. The air conditioning kept the room cool and comfortable, and the bed linen was fresh and clean. I felt so cozy and relaxed during my stay.
Personally, I found the air conditioning a bit too cold for my liking. But hey, I know some people love that!

Felt super comfortable, no complaints.
